1963 Gibson ES-330TD – Sunburst

Upgrades/modifications: a correct repro toggle switch tip was added, these original ones did often shrink over time.

Description:

A beautiful vintage Gibson Electric Spanish 330 TD model in excellent clean condition. Full hollow maple body with laminated maple top, no center block. Medium C-shaped 1-piece mahogany neck with a beautiful dark rosewood fretboard, carrying nine gorgeous abalone block inlays, all frets are in excellent condition. The 1 11/16” nut width makes it more desirable to players. The headstock face is clean with just some barely visible cosmetic wear on it, carrying the pristine pearl inlayed “Gibson” logo. The serial number is clearly visible at the back side. The 6 single-line Kluson Deluxe tuners w/oval white buttons are straight and work all smooth. The dual P-90 pickups are sounding fantastic, warm and dynamic. The nickel “dog-ear” covers and trapeze tailpiece give extra elegance and charm to this guitar. The 3-tone sunburst on the body top, the dark brown back and sides, all has kept its full color and the shiny glossy nitro-finish with no checking and no wear accentuates the grain pattern of the maple wood, very nice. The cream-colored binding looks amazing. The 3-ply black pickguard is straight and complete. The nickel “dog-ear” pickup covers do show soft natural aging. All electronics and soldering remain original and untouched. No breaks, no cracks, of corse not!

No strap button on the horn, which was a common on some early models. To attach a strap, you can use a method like a shoelace or thin rope to tie the snap to the headstock. also, there are acoustic guitar straps which will work fine with this guitar.
