A beautiful 1962 Fender Princeton from the highly desirable Brownface era.

This example retains its original 6G2 circuit, power and output transformers, brown Tolex and original grille cloth.

Recently professionally serviced and ready to play, it delivers the warm, responsive character, natural tube breakup and rich bias-modulated tremolo for which the 6G2 Princeton is renowned.

Service History

The amplifier was recently inspected and professionally serviced. Selected capacitors and resistors were replaced where necessary, together with a new CE Manufacturing filter can and AC power cord. Its original circuit layout and important vintage components have been preserved.

The installed 1970s Fender-label Oxford 10″ speaker is not original to the amplifier, but is an appropriate vintage Fender replacement.

This is a very attractive and well-preserved Brownface Princeton with its original grille cloth, transformers and core circuit intact. Compact, touch-sensitive and highly musical, it is an excellent amplifier for recording, home use and smaller performances.

Important: This is a US-specification 110/117V amplifier. A suitable step-down transformer is required in countries using higher mains voltage.
