Made in England

A rare piece of British amplifier history, with a wonderful voice and a direct connection to Liverpool’s beat era.

Built by Watkins for the famous Hesseys Music Shop, the Mersey Super 15 wears the distinctive “H” emblem on its front panel. In 1964, Hesseys commissioned fifty amplifiers, although Charlie Watkins later recalled that considerably fewer were actually supplied.

This example remains all original, has been serviced, and works flawlessly. It sounds superb—a characterful vintage valve combo for players and collectors who appreciate the less familiar side of British amplification.

A little Liverpool history, ready to be played.
