1962 Epiphone Coronet

Cherry Red Finish

Serial number: 36838

Condition: Very clean

Upgrade: None / all original guitar

Description:

Epiphone’s version of the Gibson Junior, featuring a thinner, solid mahogany body & “dog-eared” P-90 single coil bridge pickup.. This example has been well taken care of, the classic Cherry Red nitrocellulose lacquer, a deep, transparent red that shows off the mahogany grain is beautiful. As the earlier iteration of the model, before several changes arrived in 1963, this guitar retains the symmetrical body shape and Gibson-style peghead. The neck is extremely comfortable in the hand, and the frets are in incredible shape. This powerful P90 gives you that classic, hot tone and screams through a turned-up amp. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition. Overall, this is a fantastic option if you’re looking to dip your toe into the vintage world. Even for the seasoned collector, this great playing and sounding guitar will fit right into the collection!

The Epiphone Coronet was first introduced in 1958 as one of Epiphone’s entry-level solid-body electric guitars.
