Description:

Original 1960 Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3 tube-amp- narrow panel, made in Fullerton, California.

The original lacquered tweed is still in good shape with some signs of wear, see pics.

This amplifier has been well cared inside for over decades and is stocked with the original Jensen P12R Alnico speaker, original transformers, original circuit, tolex, grill-cloth and leather handle.

A 1960 Fender Deluxe 5E3 uses five tubes: two 6V6s (power), a 5Y3GT (rectifier), a 12AY7 (V1 preamp), and a 12AX7 (V2 preamp/phase inverter), with the tube chart showing their layout from right to left on the rear of the chassis as 12AX7, 12AX7, 6V6, 6V6, 5Y3GT, creating its distinct sound with interactive controls and early breakup.

It has been serviced with some new quality filter capacitor and resistors so it can run perfectly.

This amp, when used solely with a guitar it instantly achieves what is known as the “Tweed Sound”
